The book ‘8 Types of Diving’ provides an overview of all modern diving techniques. It explains in basic terms, the main diving equipment needed for each type of diving, and provides a broad and clear understanding of the scope and limitations of all diving techniques.

The Author – Roger Dennerley – has been continuously involved in the Commercial Diving Industry for over 40 years. Most of this time was spent performing construction and maintenance in offshore oil and gas fields in various countries around the world.

Mainly involved in management of saturation diving projects as a Diving Superintendent or Diving Manager, Roger started his professional diving career in the military in the mid 70’s as a member of the Australian Special Air Service Regiment in Western Australia.

In the early 90’s, Roger founded Industrial Divers Melbourne, a commercial diving company based in Melbourne. It was sold in 2001 and continues to operate with new owners. Roger is currently joint Founder / Director of Underwater Engineering. A consultancy firm performing work for various Oil & gas Operators and offshore Dive Contractors.
