This online course provides learners with an understanding in safe isolations and barriers and how to confirm suitable and sufficient mechanical isolations are in place prior to working on subsea assets.The course content is in line with industry guidance and best practice. Target Participants
When working near potential sources of stored energy subsea it is important to understand the controls that should be in place for protection. It is recommended that all those that are directly involved with working on subsea assets which may contain stored energy complete this course to have an understanding of the barriers and isolation process.

Prerequisites
Participants should complete ‘Pipeline & Instrument Diagrams P&ID’ course before commencing this course.
Assessment
Assessment is by a variety of interactive and multiple choice tests which are completed as participant’s progress through the online chapters of each course.
Certification
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be issued with a certificate from UEL.
